ComnetSolutions was engaged by APL LIMITED, a wholly owned subsidiary of Neptune Orient Lines, to design and develop an intuitive e-commerce web store to host a wide array of their items ranging from apparels to office supplies. Due to their extensive network, the online ordering and eventual delivery of the products had to be in sync with their warehouses around the world. Since their range of products tend to be refreshed quite often, we developed a Content Management System (CMS) which enables them to update their product ranges as and when they had to. In addition to that, they are able to display and promote any items within their range on the main page similar to a shop window’s concept. They also had news and announcements they wished to publish at a regular frequency. As such, the website was developed to provide them with a function to be able to upload and display news articles pertinent to their industry.
